Dr. Bill Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM 
Chief Medical Officer, University of Western States

As the leader of medical services for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Dr. Moreau worked with Olympic and Paralympic teams where he was responsible for the care of thousands of Team USA athletes, provided by more than 200 clinicians from numerous health care disciplines. During his tenure at USOC, Dr. Moreau served as the Team USA Chief Medical Officer during the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, and the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games as well as serving as the Medical Director for the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Over his more than 30-year career, he has also treated collegiate, high school and recreational athletes.

Dr. Moreau is a licensed chiropractic physician and a board-certified Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). He has presented more than 500 lectures and postgraduate education programs throughout the world. Dr. Moreau is currently president of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and is a member of the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine editorial review board.

Dr. Brendan Murray  
Founder, Institute for Spine and Sports Care

Dr. Brendan Murray has experience specializing as a sports medicine chiropractic physician for over 30 years. From volunteering at high school football and local sporting events for decades to being the former Co-Chair of the Medical Board for the U.S.A. Olympic Weightlifting Team, Dr. Murray has treated a wide variety of sports related injuries.

Whether traveling around the world treating athletes or in his Santa Monica clinic, there are common themes among Dr. Murray’s experience as a physician; he analyzes the source of all issues before prescribing treatment and caring for patients is his first priority. Making sure his patients leave feeling educated on their conditions, Dr. Murray holds himself to the highest standard to keep up with the latest research of all topics within his profession.

Dr. Murray earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles in 1988, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was part of the first Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians classes accredited by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ in 1995. He founded The Institute for Spine and Sports Care in Santa Monica in 2006 and has enjoyed practicing there ever since.
