The Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern Washington, North Idaho & Montana is a private, neutral non-profit organization supported largely by membership dues paid by business and professional groups in its service area of Eastern Washington, North Idaho & Montana. The BBB promotes ethics and integrity in the workplace through voluntary self-regulation by offering reports on businesses and charitable organizations, consumer counseling, education and awareness, and resolution of consumer disputes with businesses using conciliation, mediation and arbitration services.
The BBB also offers training to businesses on the following topics: customer service, ethics, dealing with difficult clients, scams/schemes. We often partner with such agencies as the FTC, state and city licensing divisions, the Attorney General’s Offices, as well as regional law enforcement to investigate questionable activity in our service area.
