Our Mission Statement

The Montana Retail Association shall represent the interests and concerns of the retail industry throughout the State of Montana.  It shall recognize the great need to serve as a vehicle to unify and meet the many needs that are common to retail businesses.  The MRA exists to support Montana's diverse retail community so they might prosper and grow and will strive to improve the political environment in which our members operate.

To effect state government

• Provide effective lobbying of our State Legislature on behalf of members
• Promote policies which improve the business and management climate 
• Help to increase the economic outlook for Montana business operators

To provide information

• We will provide current legislative information on issues affecting Montana retailers
• Indicate our stance on bills and provide information on how they may affect business
• Offer direct links to your legislators in State government
   

To provide member services and benefits

• Legislative Lobbying on your behalf is the primary purpose of your association
• We endorse several cost-effective services at generally reduced prices
• Strive to provide high quality customer service in response to member inquiries
